Hello! I'm thrilled to share the creative journey behind Refrescar Diner, a passion project where I set out to imagine the ultimate highway oasis. Inspired by the nostalgia of retro diners but with a fresh, art deco twist, this concept celebrates the joy of discovery and the comfort of a good meal on the road.

The idea began with a simple question: What if there were a stand-alone diner in the Arizona desert that offered more than just food—what if it became an Instagram-worthy destination for road-trippers? From there, I dove into mood boarding and researching existing diner brands. I quickly realized there was a gap—no one had explored a Tex-Mex-inspired diner with a modern art deco aesthetic. That’s when Refrescar Diner was born!

The design process was a balance of playful creativity and thoughtful strategy. I started by conceptualizing a brand identity that would appeal to tourists seeking both picture-perfect moments and a place to recharge. From there, I created a cohesive set of collateral, including menus, stickers, coasters, and business cards, each echoing the diner's bold yet welcoming vibe. The color palette and typography were carefully chosen to blend vintage charm with a contemporary edge, capturing the spirit of a refreshing stop along a long journey.
